ABOUT US
The Potter’s House Christian Fellowship is a Christian Pentecostal church organisation founded by Pastor Wayman Mitchell in Prescott, Arizona in 1970. The official organisation title is Christian Fellowship Ministries (CFM).
The Potter’s House is a Pentecostal bible-based fellowship of 4000 churches in 137 nations throughout the world and growing, and found its roots in the Jesus People Movement, a Christian revival, that occurred in America in the early 1970s.
The name comes from an Old Testament verse of the Bible:
Jeremiah 18:2 ‘Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.’
Because of its biblical origin, the name “The Potter’s House” is often used by other independent church groups besides those affiliated with Christian Fellowship Ministries.
The Christian Fellowship Ministries take seriously Christ’s commission to “go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.” Therefore, our mission as a fellowship has always been to fulfil Christ’s Great Commission through world evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. It was Christ Himself who commanded His followers to “make disciples of all the nations” and the simple obedience to this command by our founding Pastor Wayman Mitchell has been imparted as our fellowship’s vision.
With this focus, we are constantly endeavouring to reach unsaved and unchurched people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to spread the good news of God’s love and saving grace throughout the world. Whether we use Christian bands, movies, dramas, street preaching, or door-to-door evangelism, our focus and mission is to help lead people into their own personal relationship with the Saviour Jesus Christ.

OUR PASTOR
Pastor Martin Costa and his wife Athena were launched out of the Australian Bible Conference in Perth, Australia in 2025, to pioneer what is now the Potters House Christian Church Mascot.
MY STORY
Growing up in Australia to South American Migrant parents, I attended Catholic School, and although I had a great childhood I began to start asking questions about life as I became a teenager and then later into my adult life.
Without any clear direction or answers to the more complex questions in life I began to make poor decisions and I was entangled in a life of extremes which led me to a path of addiction and ultimately contemplating suicide.
In 2019, after getting to the end of the road I had a supernatural encounter with God and I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ.
Since then I found myself immersing myself in scriptures and the entire Bible came to life. Not only did I discover my purpose in life but I completely dedicated my life to serve as a disciple in my local Church and surrender to God's will for my life. I took on several ministries in the church and became a Bible Study leader and Outreach director in a short amount of time.
God not only set me free from my addiction but he completely restored my relationships and family through countless miracles.
God has supernaturally moved in all areas of my life including in areas of- financial provision, spiritual breakthrough and growth, physical healing and a complete restoration of my mind. I now have an amazing wife and three beautiful children and run multiple School mentoring programs equipping the future generation of young men and woman to become new creations in Christ Jesus.
